Simon’s Heroes was proud to support fellow local charity Liberty Jamboree as they celebrated the opening of their new youth facility at Mitchell Ellis House in Lichfield this month.
Liberty Jamboree provides inclusive support, activities and opportunities for young people of all abilities, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment where they can thrive.
Thanks to the continued generosity of its supporters, Simon’s Heroes contributed to the project by funding new turf for the outdoor space, giving young people an area to enjoy and socialise. In addition, evacuation chairs were provided to help ensure the building is accessible and safe for everyone who uses it.
The grand opening event brought together supporters, partners and members of the local community to celebrate the completion of the project. The evening was filled with a strong sense of pride and excitement, as the new centre was officially opened and showcased for the first time.
The project has been made possible through the collaboration of a number of organisations, partners and funders, highlighting the impact that can be achieved when communities work together.
Most importantly, the new facility has been shaped by the young people it is designed to support, creating a space where they can feel included, build confidence and develop new opportunities.
Simon’s Heroes is delighted to have played a part in supporting such an important community project.
Congratulations to everyone involved at Liberty Jamboree on this fantastic achievement.
