Generous members of Bannatyne Health Club and Spa Tamworth have helped to make Easter eggstra-special by donating Easter eggs to local children’s charity, Simon’s Heroes.
More than 200 Easter eggs were donated which were collected by the charity over the Easter weekend. Members of Simon’s Heroes helped to distribute them to a number of its beneficiaries, as well as pupils at Two Rivers Primary School – a state special school, and children receiving support from Phoenix at St Giles, a service offering assistance to young people dealing with bereavement across the St Giles catchment area.
By way of thanks for their members’ generosity, Bannatyne Health Club offered a complimentary pass in exchange for every egg donated.
‘We have been blown away by the generosity of our members!’ said Mark Reynolds, General Manager, Bannatyne Health Club and Spa, Tamworth. ‘Bannatyne Health Club and Spa Tamworth prides itself on being part of the local community and we are delighted at how many Easter eggs we were able to donate to the fantastic Simon’s Heroes, a charity which carries out such wonderful work across our area.’
‘We are overwhelmed with the generosity and kind heartedness of the members of Bannatyne Health Club,’ said Justin Haywood, Chairman of Simon’s Heroes. ‘A wonderful gesture which was appreciated by all the recipients and their families and put a smile on their faces.’
