Simon’s Heroes is flying high with new charity partnership

Simon’s Heroes will be the beneficiary of a corporate sponsorship with Virgin Holidays, who launched their new store last week, after relocating from Sutton Coldfield. The new store, a small concession in NEXT at Ventura Park, plans to help Simon’s Heroes with fundraisers and exposure throughout the 12-month partnership.

Claire Holloway, trustee of Simon’s Heroes, said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as Virgin Holidays’ local charity partner for the next 12 months. Corporate sponsorship plays a vital role in our charitable fundraising. Every penny raised through this partnership will help make a difference to local children in need and raise awareness about our cause.’

Travel advisor, Samantha Ducille, who picked Simon’s Heroes, said: ‘Virgin Holidays’ national charity is Dreams Come True, who aim to enrich the lives of children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Simon’s Heroes has the exact same type of ethos, improving the lives of children with debilitating illnesses.

‘As Simon’s Heroes are local to our new location, I thought it fitted in nicely as we have just moved to Tamworth and we wanted to support a Tamworth charity – and it works well side-by-side with our charity too.’
