A sell-out virtual horse race night at The Globe Inn Tamworth, has raised £1500 for local children’s charity, Simon’s Heroes.

The fundraiser, hosted by Simon’s Heroes and compere Nigel Crane, on 10th November, included a fish & chip supper, 6 thrilling races, a Grand Auction and raffle.

‘Thank you to everyone that supported and helped organise the evening. We had some wonderful raffle prize donations, courtesy of a number of local businesses and individuals, which helped add a substantial amount to the charity pot.
