A massive shout out to our wonderful Heroes who have raised valuable funds for Simon’s Heroes through our Just Giving page this autumn/winter.
Our very own Simon Tuffield had asked suppliers for donations through his electrical wholesale business and was overwhelmed by the generosity of his customers.
Oneplastics in Tamworth held a Christmas raffle and raised a fantastic amount from their entire workforce.
Hellman’s UK continues to support us with their dress down Fridays, which they will continue into the New Year.
PCE have raised funds over the autumn and winter months with their dress down days, cake sales, Christmas auction and children’s colouring competition and the men’s mental health awareness “Movember”.
The lovely ladies who sell Oriflame products held a raffle and all proceeds were donated to the charity.
Many people who knew our lovely friend Kelly Davis had many ways in which they wanted to honour her name and donate to the charity she so loved to be a part of.
They entered the Tamworth 10k run in 0ctober 2018 in her memory and her friends and work colleagues decided to raise funds by walking the 12-mile route that Kelly took to work each day as a West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic.
They all set off from Erdington Ambulance Hub back to Tamworth, this took them around 4hrs. Kelly would have been so proud.
Last but not least, a very big thank you to everyone who donated to Simon’s Heroes.
Every penny raised helps these wonderful children with life-limiting illnesses have a special wish come true.
